Our experience in creating delicious bespoke ice cream has led to some interesting requests. Whether its 1litre or 1000, all of our ice cream is handcrafted to order and far from being a gimmick product, our bespoke ice cream creations are made with the same base creams and high quality ingredients as all our extraordinary ice cream. We have previously been awarded 2 Gold Stars in the Great Taste Awards, the epicurean equivalent of the Oscars.
Case Studies
Kraken brand activation summer 2016, Whipsmiths were commissioned to create an ice cream that screamed Kraken. Using a full shot of rum in each scoop and discovering all the subtle background flavours, Whipsmiths created an ice cream that delivered our client’s vision.
Travelling in a fully branded Kraken truck we toured the UK, giving away 1,000s of samples of ice cream to festival goers and shoppers alike, introducing them to the delicious taste of the Kraken in ice cream form.
Following on from the road show, we created one of our very own Kraken branded ice cream carts and helped promote Kraken to NUS buyers from all over the country.
Everyone said Whipsmiths would be famous and thanks to MAC we have been plastered on billboards all over the world.
For MAC’s pastel make-up campaign 2016, Whipsmiths were commissioned by Andy Hillman Studio’s to create a multi-coloured whippy cone for their advertising campaign. MAC had strict criteria and asked for each flavour to be an exact pantone match of their new make up range.
The project was undertaken in two stages, firstly in our development kitchen and then on site for the photoshoot itself. With the help of an award winning sculpture artist we were able to create their vision. We were on location throughout the shoot making the cones and to ensure that each edible ice cream prop looked and tasted perfect.
Engaged by World Duty Free to create a range of whisky infused ice creams to promote the 2015 Whisky Festival.
Delivered as a guerrilla campaign to local media houses in London, followed by a public giveaway in Bloomsbury Square from a beautiful Citreon H Van we had kitted out especially for the day.
